How to Release and Renew IP address in Windows?

Follow the below given procedure:
1. Click on start menu > Run.
2. Type the command " cmd ".
3. In the command prompt type " ipconfig ".

" ipconfig " will list the computers Ip address.

If the computer is holding an IP address and you need to release it.
Issue the following command.

Code:
ipconfig /release


To obtain a new IP address, type the following command.

Code:
ipconfig /renew


Thats It.
